Some stories take time — like this collaboration, over a year in the making.
It began in Stockholm, over brunch with friends from Vienna’s SiL — a brunch spot devoted to slowing down and savoring life’s small rituals.
Together, we created a candle collection that bridges our worlds of simplicity, craftsmanship, and calm.
Handmade in our Stockholm atelier, each candle is inspired by the warmth and flavors of SiL’s kitchen. The collection features two scents — Burnt Sugar and Glazed Cherry — rich, nostalgic, and comforting.
Exclusively available at SiL in Vienna, these candles are small invitations to pause — to light one in the morning, while cooking, or simply to enjoy a quiet moment.
Because sometimes, it’s the smallest details that make a moment.
To make your candle last, don't forget these simple steps
-
1. First burn matters
When lighting your soy wax candle with a wood wick for the first time, allow it to burn until the entire surface becomes a pool of melted wax. This ensures an even burn and prevents tunneling in future uses.
-
2. Trim the wick
Before each use, trim the wood wick to approximately 0.5 cm above the wax surface. This helps control the flame height and prevents excessive flickering or soot formation.
-
3. Watch the burn time
Avoid burning the candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Extended burning can cause the container to become too hot and may affect the quality of the fragrance.
