With just a few simple steps, you can make your candle last longer, burn cleaner, and fill your space with scent — exactly as it was meant to. A little attention goes a long way in preserving both the beauty and performance of your candle.
First Burn Matters
When lighting your soy wax candle with a wood wick for the first time, allow it to burn until the entire surface becomes a pool of melted wax. This ensures an even burn and prevents tunneling in future uses.
Trim the Wick
Before each use, trim the wood wick to approximately 0.5 cm above the wax surface. This helps control the flame height and prevents excessive flickering or soot formation.
Burn Time
Avoid burning the candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Extended burning can cause the container to become too hot and may affect the quality of the fragrance.
